Research Interests in Plant Ecology
The holocoenotic environment
As you'll notice, my research interests are broad and quite variable. I consciously view plant ecology as the holocoenotic environmental complex that it is. Though it is impossible to take a holistic approach to science and develop statistically sound experiments (unless df = ∞, of course), I am a firm believer that it is important to remain cognizant that plants are affected by a limitless number of variables, and plants affect many of these variables in return. It is essential for ecologists to look at the bigger picture, step out of their comfort zone, and think outside the box. There is no room for complacency in this field!
